North Stars Athletics

North Stars Athletics is growing! For the 2025–2026 season, we’re proud to field competitive girls travel softball teams from 8U–14U. Each team is built around our core values of development, discipline, and fun.

Our coaching approach combines the dedication of volunteer parent coaches with the expertise of professional trainers, so every player gets the best of both worlds.

Team Structure

We offer teams in the following age groups:
8U • 9U • 10U • 11U • 12U • 14U+

  • 8U–12U: Coached by parent volunteers, with weekly practices led by professional coaches from Fennell Brothers.

  • 14U+: Led by paid head coaches beginning in the 2025–2026 season, offering advanced training and mentorship.

Through our partnership with Fennell Brothers, all teams benefit from:

  • Weekly sessions with paid coaching staff

  • Optional clinics for pitching, hitting, catching, arm care, and fielding

  • A consistent focus on skill-building, mechanics, and player growth

Season Overview

Season Length: September – June
Break: Entire month of November (no practices or games)

Fall

  • 1 weekly team practice

  • Optional Fall paid coaching practice

  • 1-3 Fall Tournaments

  • Off November – No Softball!

Winter

  • 1 weekly team practice at Fennell Brothers

  • 1 weekly hitting class with paid coach powered by Fennell Brothers

  • 1-2 Winter Tournaments

Spring

  • 1 weekly team practice

  • 1 weekly hitting class with paid coach powered by HomePL8

  • 4-6 Spring Tournaments


Facilities

  • Wildwood Indoor Facility – for year-round indoor skills training

  • PRYC Outdoor Field (Pine Richland) – for outdoor practices and games


Uniforms & Cost

  • Uniforms & helmets are sponsored to help lower family expenses

  • Estimated total cost for the season: $1,200–$1,500 all-in
